What I offer

Counselling for Children and Young People aged between nine and twenty – five years old. Based in North Somerset, Bristol.
Many children and young people may need support to resolve, work through, and process issues which they come across at home, in school and in the outside world. If they have difficulty in doing so, it might affect their learning, relationships, and their emotional and behavioural development.

Counselling offers a safe and confidential place to explore confusing thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Whilst some young people prefer to talk, others may find this difficult and require a more creative approach for them to be able to understand and express themselves. We use a range of different medias in addition to traditional talking therapy such as art, music, creative writing, sand, clay, games, and visualisation.

What can therapy help with?

  • Difficult life events
  • Upsetting or traumatic experiences
  • Depression and anxiety
  • Relationship problems
  • Long term physical health problems
  • Low self-esteem and body image
  • Ethnicity and cultural identity
  • Gender and sexual identity
  • School and social media issues

If you have any further questions or would like to book in for an initial assessment, please get in touch.
